PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat apparatus which allows easy maintenance of a filter. SOLUTION: The toilet seat apparatus includes a casing 10 which can be mounted on the rear upper surface of a western style toilet body 1, and a toilet seat 2 freely turnably pivoted at the casing 10. In the casing 10, a fan 20 and an air cleaner 50 provided with an air suction/discharge mechanism having a filter 30 disposed more on the upstream side than the fan 20 are stored.
