PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kit or the like suitable for rapidly detecting bases of cytochromes P450, 2C9 and 2C19 in single nucleotide polymorphism.

SOLUTION: The base sequence of a gene in the single nucleotide polymorphism is detected by the kit comprising a probe having a DNA comprising a base sequence equal to, complementary to or reverse complementary to a base sequence represented in a prescribed region of a cytochrome P450, 2C9 or 2C19 gene, and a probe having a DNA hybridizing with a base sequence equal to, complementary to or reverse complementary to the base sequence represented by the prescribed region of the gene.
