<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy efficiency of a vehicle having a power generator generating back electromotive force according to traveling. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle 20 controls an inverter 42 such that request power is output from a motor MG2 and controls an inverter 41 to perform magnetic field weakening processing to a motor MG1, in a state such that a powering state or a state that charging cannot be performed to a battery 50, and controls the inverter 42 such that regenerative torque is output from the motor MG2 and controls the inverter 41 to cut off a gate, when the hybrid vehicle is in a second state that the vehicle is in a regenerative state and while a back electromotive voltage from the motor MG1 is higher than a supply voltage from the battery 50, and that the battery 50 can be charged. Thus, in the second state, the inverter 41 is gate-cut off though during the traveling, power consumption is suppressed without performing the magnetic field weakening processing of the motor MG1, and the back electromotive force generated in the motor MG1 is charged in the battery 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
