<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic material having high oxygen permeability or a soft rubber-like plastic material which includes high oxygen permeability and excellent light transmissivity, suppresses the adhesion of proteins onto its surface, and is excellent in moldability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The highly oxygen permeable plastic material is obtained by molding gel containing a nano-sized linear polysiloxane, obtained by polymerizing a dialkoxydialkyl silane in a sol of a thermoplastic polymer.
