<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable uniform winding of a cord which prevents dropping of a yarn when sticking a twisted cord to a body to be formed, and does not cause a yarn deviation by offsetting a residual stress generated by the twist of the cord having easy dropping of the yarn as the twisted cord. Ž<P>SOLUTION: For example, in a method for manufacturing a cord reinforcing member of a tire 1, S-twisted yarn 34b is bundled to form Z-twisted cord 32a, and Z-twisted yarn 34a is bundled to form S-twisted cord 32b. The Z-twisted cord 32b and the S-twisted cord 32a formed in the respective steps are coated with unvulcanized insulation rubber, and afterward, the residual stress due to the twist of the respective cords 32a, 32b is offset by bundling the Z-twisted cord 32b and the S-twisted 32a.
