HEAVY-WEIGHT AGGREGATE AND HEAVY-WEIGHT CONCRETE

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy-weight fine aggregate which hardly causes the material separation from a cement paste, a heavy-weight aggregate and a heavy-weight concrete using those heavy-weight fine aggregate and heavy-weight aggregate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The heavy-weight fine aggregate contains at least 20 mass% aggregate having a particle size of smaller than 0.15 mm and at least 20 mass% aggregate having a particle size of at least 2.5 mm and smaller than 5 mm. Thereby when being blended into a heavy-weight concrete the material separation between the aggregate and the cement paste can be effectively suppressed and when being blended into a heavy-weight concrete for filling caissons it can effectively improve the filling ratio into the filling caissons.
