<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of cleaning exhaust air regardless of the fineness of dust. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner is provided with a dust collecting part 7 communicating with the suction side of an electric blower 5 housed in a cleaner body 1, a charging part 31 for charging the dust which has passed through the electric blower 5, and a dust catching part 32 for catching the dust charged by the charging part 31 using the charges of a polarity opposite to the charging of the dust.
