<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fader device for adjusting the level of an output signal, with respect to an input signal by manually operating a manipulator linearly, the fader device capable of circumventing wearing of a resistor and a slider and maintaining stable performance over a long period of time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The fader device includes the manipulator 3 which is manually operated to linearly move within a predetermined reciprocative range; a rotating part 5 which rotates in conjunction with the linear movement of the manipulator; a rotation angle sensor 9 for detecting a rotation angle of the rotary part; a voltage output part 11, which outputs a voltage corresponding to the detected rotation angle; and a signal output part 13 for outputting an output signal, at a level corresponding to the magnitude of the voltage.
