PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caulking device which can reduce the defects in caulking caused by the variation in the mechanical properties of materials and the dimensions of parts in a caulking member. SOLUTION: Upon caulking, the point at which the deformation form of a caulking member changes is detected as an inflection point, and, from the inflection point, further, by the moving amount of a pressing member or by the change degree of pressing force for caulking from the pre-memorized inflection point to a proper state, the pressing part is moved or pressurized. In this way, the caulking device which can reduce the defects in caulking caused by the mechanical properties of materials and the variation in the dimensions of parts in a caulking member can be reduced.
