MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL WITH A BANK-NOTE DETECTION FUNCTION

The invention makes it possible to extend the functionalities of a mobile communication terminal for determining the authenticity of bank-notes and securities. For this purpose, a mobile communication terminal comprising a display, a power supply and at least one additional device in the form of a built in photo-video camera is supplemented with an infrared radiation source and a filter for the infrared (IR) spectral region only. The filter is placed in front of the matrix of the photo-video camera. The infrared radiation source is oriented towards an investigated object in such a way that the reflected rays come to the objective lens of the photo-video camera. The image of spots where a metameric paint reflecting IR-radiation is applied on the object is displayed on the display of the mobile communication terminal. The knowledge of the spots where the metameric paint is applied on bank-notes or securities makes it possible to draw a conclusion about the authenticity thereof.
