摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to discriminate positive/negative of wavelength dispersion without adding a pilot tone to a signal. <P>SOLUTION: A wavelength dispersion measuring device is connected to an optical signal receiving means which separates an optical differential quadruple phase shift keying (DQPSK) signal into two components of a CH1 component and a CH2 component with a symbol rate fs, demodulates them, and generates the CH1 signal and the CH2 signal. It includes: a clock extracting means for the CH1 signal which extracts a clock component of the frequency fs from the CH1 signal; a clock extracting means for the CH2 signal which extracts a clock component of the frequency fs from the CH2 signal; and a phase comparison means which performs phase comparison between the CH1 component clock signal extracted by the clock extracting means for the CH1 signal and the CH2 component clock signal extracted by the clock extracting means for the CH2 signal, and outputs the phase comparison result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
