PURPOSE: A power smoothing circuit 1 is provided to reduce a ripple voltage deviation and ripple voltage of a plus side and a minus side. CONSTITUTION: A rectifier rectifies alternating currents to direct currents. A smoothing condenser part(P5) removes ripples from the rectified voltage. A condenser is installed between a plus side and a minus side of the smoothing condenser part. Idling currents selectively flow between the plug side and ground or the minus side and ground or the plus side and the minus side. The idling currents are adjustable. The idling currents flow in a constant voltage regulator of a constant voltage regulating unit.
