PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily dispose off the foreign matter arrested by a catcher and suitably pass drain water in a conventional construction method in which a bathtub loading surface is formed of a skeleton floor. SOLUTION: This drain device is so formed that a bathtub 5 is installed on the bathtub loading surface 3a of the skeleton floor, and used in a bathroom 1a in which a washing place floor surface 7a is positioned adjacent to the bathtub loading surface 3a. The drain device includes a drain trap 15 and a bathtub drain pipe 17a. A washing place drain inlet 19b, a water sealing section 19c, a drain port 19d, and a bathtub drain inlet 19e are formed in the housing 19 of the drain trap 15. An inflow chamber R1 which is positioned under the washing place drain inlet 19b, the inner peripheral surface of which is formed in a cylindrical surface generally coaxial to a net section 31a, and the bottom of which is open; an outflow chamber R2 which communicates with the inflow chamber R1 through a sealing water W and which communicates with the drain port 19d; and a guide passage 19g for discharging the bathtub drain flowing therein through the bathtub drain inlet 19e to the inflow chamber R1 in the tangential direction through the bathtub drain outlet 19f are formed inside the housing 19.
