PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic water faucet provided with a light emitting part and a light receiving part in a human body detection sensor together with a water discharge port on a tip face of a water discharge pipe and capable of reducing size of a shape of the tip face to reduce thickness of the whole water discharge pipe and miniaturize it and improving quality of design of the water discharge pipe, satisfactorily. SOLUTION: In this automatic water faucet provided with the light emitting part 40 and the light receiving part 42 in the human body detection sensor 38 together with the water discharge port 30 on the tip face 12A of the water discharge pipe 12, sensor cases 44, 46 are separately and independently provided on a light emitting part 40 side and a light receiving part 42 side, respectively. While the light emitting part 40 and the light receiving part 42 are stored in the inside of the sensor case 44 and the inside of the sensor case 46, respectively, the whole sensor cases 44, 46 incorporating the light emitting part 40 and the light receiving part 42, respectively, are separately arranged around the water discharge port 30 while they are separated from each other.
