PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image capturing system capable of appropriately setting capturing conditions of a radiation generator associated with a bucky device under environment where a same bucky device is loaded with either of a CR cassette and an FPD cassette to capture an image. SOLUTION: This radiation image capturing system 1 is equipped with the radiation generator 4, the bucky device 3, the portable FPD cassette 2a, the CR cassette 2b, and a console 7 having a display section 71 for displaying respective icons corresponding to the usable bucky device 3 and the portable cassette 2a respectively. The console 7 boots the radiation generator 4 associated with the selected bucky device 3, and controls the radiation generator 4 to apply radiation of different exposure doses from the radiation generator 4 depending on whether the portable FPD cassette 2a is loaded on the bucky device 3, when an icon 3A corresponding to the bucky device 3 is selected from the icons.
