PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope to wash the observation window together with illumination windows with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The observation window 25, the illumination windows 26, 27, a forceps outlet 28, and a nozzle 29 are arranged on the distal end surface 17a of a distal end 17. The nozzle 29 includes only one injection port directed toward the observation window 25. A triangular prism shape straightening projection 30 with an isosceles triangular cross section is arranged under the observation window 25 and also between the illumination windows 26, 27. A fluid injected from the nozzle 29 passes through the observation window 25 at first, so as to wash the observation window 25, and then, collides with the side surfaces 30a, 30b of the straightening projection 30. The fluid colliding with the side surfaces 30a, 30b is introduced in two directions along the side surfaces 30a, 30b, so as to be respectively blown against the illumination window 26 and the illumination window 27. The observation window 25 and the illumination windows 26, 27 are washed together with the use of the fluid injected from the nozzle 29 including one injection port. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
