<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat surface disengagement determining device for determining disengagement from a seat surface of a concave tapered shape. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A strain gauge 66 is installed in an opposite side part of the load applying direction (the arrow F direction) side of a tilting device 44 on an outer peripheral side surface 40A of a second test piece 30, and compressive strain is detected by the strain gauge 66. Since the strain gauge 66 receives a compressive load by a fastening load by a bolt 28A and a nut 28B in an installation state, when an opposed surface 36 of the second test piece 30 is not disengaged from the seat surface 24A of a first test piece 20, the compressive strain is detected by the strain gauge 66, and when the opposed surface 36 is disengaged from the seat surface 24A, the compressive strain is not detected by the strain gauge 66.
