<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking control device of a vehicle preventing a braking force holding control from starting when the holding control is not required. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A CPU of the control device obtains a brake liquid pressure P1 in stopping a vehicle, when an obtained vehicle speed of the vehicle 10 is reduced to a predetermined speed or lower. Furthermore, the CPU obtains a brake liquid pressure P2 after obtaining the brake liquid pressure P1. When the brake liquid pressure P2 is higher than the value in which an additional predetermined value Pth is added to the brake liquid pressure P1, the braking force holding control for holding the braking force of the vehicle is started. At that time, the CPU obtains the gradient of the vehicle, and when an obtained gradient is not more than a predetermined one, the braking force holding control is not performed.
