<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for receiving scattering of sparks during drilling of a deck plate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: On the bottom part of a metallic spark-receiving container 2 having a nearly cylindrical shape with an open top part, there is attached a freely extendible/contractible prop 4. In addition to propping by tension between the ceiling and the floor using the upper face of the spark-receiving container and the lower face of the leg of the prop, the container is characterized in that vibration sound generated in a part close to the top part of the nearly cylindrical shape is collected in the spark-receiving container and transmitted to a hose connected to the container.
