<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect a home position and a staple position with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: This post-processor includes a moving staple member (70) including a movable carriage (71) capable of moving between the home position and the staple position, and a stapler position detecting sensor (SN1) supported by the movable carriage (71); a home position detecting portion (64) arranged in the home position; a staple position detecting portion (63) arranged in the staple position, and which is different from the home position detecting portion (64); and a home position judging device for judging whether the moving staple member (70) has moved to the home position or not on the basis of a detecting signal of the home position detecting portion (64) or the staple position detecting portion (63) of the stapler position detecting sensor (SN1) while the moving staple member (70) moves to the home position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
