<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out safe charging by evenly distributing slurry intermediate compacts including 20-25wt.% of water manufactured by using iron oxide or the like as raw material in a reheating furnace of a next process. <P>SOLUTION: In a rotary hearth heating/deoxidizing a lump of iron oxide comprising reducing material such as charcoal material or iron oxide of iron ore, iron manufacture waste, or the like, and delivering the lump of iron oxide outside a furnace, when dehydrating slurry liquid including powder containing metal oxide and carbon to a moisture content of 20-25mass% by a dehydrator, forming it into a compact 2 by a making machine 1, and inputting it into a reducing furnace via a charging conveyor 4, a transfer slanted conveyor 3 is arranged in a direction matching a compact delivery direction in an exit side of the making machine 1 to receive the compact 2, the compact 2 is carried to the charging conveyor 4 at a conveyance speed of the slanted conveyor 3 that is slower than a compact delivery speed, and the compact 2 is transferred to the reducing furnace while expanding it in a width direction of the charging conveyor 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
