摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily and accurately detect a three-dimensional position of an underground buried structure. SOLUTION: A single transmitting antenna element 1a and a plurality of receiving antenna elements 1b-1d are arranged in a plurality of partial storing spaces 4a-4d, formed in a conductive antenna housing 2. The antenna elements 1a-1d, in which pairs of conductors 5a-5d, 6a-6d are arranged on respective straight line 33 constitute a dipole antenna. The conductors 5a-5d, 6a-6d has a lengthλ/2, when the wavelength of a used frequency isλ. The receiving antenna element 1b-1d are arranged, while, being shifted longitudinally byλ/2 of the conductors 5a-5d, 6a-6d. Based on the time differenceΔW1-ΔW1 between a pulse-like transmitted signal provided for the transmitting antenna element 1a and received signals provided form respective receiving antenna elements 1b-1d, distance, namely the position, of the underground buried structure 13 can detected speedily and accurately.</p>
