The battery (1) has a heat conducting plate (2) for tempting the battery, and also has individual cells switched parallel or in series, which are connected with the heat conducting plate in heat conducting manner. A channel structure is arranged in the heat conducting plate through which heat conducting medium flows, and with connecting sections, for the channel structure, projecting out of heat conducting plate. The heat conducting plate has the individual cell bores in the area of pole (6) and that the poles of the individual cells projects through the holes.
