PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve light use efficiency by including a wavelength conversion part converting the light to have wavelength to absorb the light easily. CONSTITUTION: A solar cell(100) includes a photoelectric converter(111) and a wavelength converter(112). The photoelectric converter converts the sunlight into the electric energy. The wavelength converter improve use efficiency of the sunlight by converting the light with the wavelength different from the wavelength absorbed in the photoelectric converter into the light with the wavelength absorbed in the photoelectric converter. A photoelectric converter includes a first electrode(110), an n-type silicon layer(120), an intrinsic silicon layer, a p-type silicon layer(140) and a second electrode(150). The intrinsic silicon layer is formed by alternatively stacking the amorphous silicon and the micro-crystalline silicon. |
