FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this particularly relates to production of drilling bits for drilling bore-holes in oil and gas fields. Bearing support of roller-type bit has journal and antifriction bearings installed on it. Secured on antifriction bearings is body of roller-type bit for possible free rotation. Used in function of antifriction bearings are two taper roller bearings installed at thrust. Outer race of one of bearings is installed in roller-type bit for possible displacement in axial direction. Resting against this outer bearing race is disk spring which is clamped by adjusting ring located coaxially between bearings. Adjusting ring has tapered radial holes with pins installed there which fix adjusting ring in axial direction. Pressure-forced at edge of roller-type bit is protective washer. Clamped to protective washer under action of resilient ring installed in end-face of journal is metal ring which can freely slide over surface of protective washer. Application of aforesaid embodiment of bearing support prolongs service life of bearing support of roller-type bit due to reduced axial clearances and ensuring more favorable distribution of load between bearings.
