An actuator for accessing moving storage media (D) carrying substantially parallel information tracks (T) has a suspension wire holder (2), a lens holder (A) with a lens (3), and suspension wires (4) connecting the suspension wire holder (2) and the lens holder (A). According to the invention the suspension wire holder (2) and the lens holder (A) are constituted by a suspension wire holder part (2') and a lens holder part (A') of a single actuator blank (B) made from insulating material, and are arranged coplanarly relative to each other the same way as they were while still connected to the actuator blank (B).
