<p>A single-piece gas fitting with a built-in pressure gauge comprises a body (12) with at least one gas union (36, 38) and a housing for a pressure gauge (56) in the front surface (14). A pressure gauge (32) has a casing (50) with a rear union. The casing (50) is housed in the pressure gauge housing (32). The union end-piece (52) enters the body (12) hermetically. This body has a rear bore (60) with a rear mouth in the rear surface (16) of the body (12). The union end-piece (52) penetrates the rear bore (60) hermetically in the axial direction. A plug (80) is screwed through the rear mouth onto the union end-piece (52). This plug (80) closes off the rear bore (60) hermetically at its rear mouth end and bears against a first bearing surface (92) belonging to the body (12) in order to pull said pressure gauge (32) against a second bearing surface (59) belonging to the body (12), thus securing the pressure gauge (32) in the body (12). A highly compact point of use is also discussed.</p> |
