PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a Japanese cypress chip and a pillow containing the chip are provided to offer healthful functions to a body by containing phytoncide, and to reduce manufacturing cost by producing a chip with remaining Japanese cypress. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a Japanese cypress chip comprises the followings: removing bark attached on the surface of Japanese cypress wood(1) including an annual ring(2) and gnarls(3); cutting the Japanese cypress wood to an opposite direction of a wood grain with the thickness of 1~10mm; forming the Japanese cypress chip(5) by pulverizing Japanese cypress woodcut(4) through a pulverizer; sorting the Japanese cypress chips; and putting the sorted Japanese cypress chips into a pillow. |
