<p>The belt (10) has an open-cell foam material layer (18) bonded on a side with a carrier structure (12). The foam material layer surrounds the carrier structure, and comprises an open-celled construction, where the foam material layer is made of thermoplastic polymer material, polyurethane material, duroplastic polymer material or melamine-formaldehyde. The foam material layer is produced in a film extrusion process together with the structure. The carrier structure is made of fibrous material, woven material, laid fabric structure or warp knit fabric. An independent claim is also included for a method for production of a belt for a machine to produce a fibrous web.</p> |
