TOOTH-BLEACHING MATERIAL AND METHOD OF BLEACHING TOOTH

A tooth-bleaching material characterized by comprising: hydrogen peroxide and/or a compound which generates hydrogen peroxide in an aqueous solution; a dicarboxylic acid anhydride; a basic compound; and a thickener. Also provided is a method of tooth bleaching characterized by adhering the tooth-bleaching material, optionally after being diluted, to the surface of a stained tooth and irradiating it with light. Thus, the coloring matter (coloration, discoloration) deposited on a tooth is bleached and removed. The tooth-bleaching material is safe and convenient for use and has a high bleaching effect. The method of tooth bleaching employs the tooth-bleaching material.
