<p>The invention relates to a thermally insulating multilayer composite system which comprises at least one first reflecting layer (1) having vapor-permeable, water-proof and air-tight properties, a first insulating layer (2) having vapor- and air-permeable properties, a reflecting intermediate layer (3) having vapor- and air-permeable, preferably slightly air-permeable properties, a second insulating layer (4) having air- and vapor-permeable properties, and a second outer reflecting layer (5) having vapor-permeable, water-proof and air-tight properties. The invention provides a composite system that reduces heat transfer by conduction, convection and radiation and has better insulating properties as compared to conventional systems.</p> |
