Tyre valve with elliptic seat

The valve which is attached to the rim (3) of a heavy duty tubeless tyre passes through a valve hole (38). The sealed fixing to the rim comprises a valve foot (61) with a tube (63) passing through the rim. The tube has an elliptical shoulder (633) perpendicular to the tube axis forming a first support surface against the rim. This first support surface is constituted by two diametrically opposite support zones. The shoulder holds a sealing joint (65). A locking nut (64), screwed onto the tube and supported against the rim internal radial surface axially compresses the sealing joint between the shoulder and the first rim support surface. The valve foot is extended by a valve rod (62) perpendicular to the diameter connecting the two support zones.
