An optical sheet, a backlight unit including the optical sheet, and a liquid crystal display including the backlight unit may be provided. The optical sheet includes a reflective polarizing film (110), a first adhesive layer (130) on one surface of the reflective polarizing film, and a first diffusion layer (120) on the first adhesive layer. The first diffusion layer includes a first light transmitting material (121) and a plurality of first diffusion particles (122) provided therein. A difference between a refractive index of the first adhesive layer and a refractive index of the first light transmitting material is less than or equal to approximately 0.2.
