The bearing has a bridge (7) whose end sections (10) are turned through 90 deg relative to the central section (8), which engages on the cap piece (4) of the crankshaft bearing. They are screwed to the inner surface (11) of the crankcase end wall (1). The fastening screws (12) for the bridge extend through the end wall. They are used for fastening of a cover. This partially covers the crankcase end wall, and contains the crankshaft seal. |
