<p>The adjuster has a backrest-sided fitting part (1), which is movable relative to vehicle seat-sided fitting parts (8, 9), and is locked with the seat-sided fitting parts, which are supported at a tube section (10). The seat-sided fitting parts are firmly connected with the tube section, which is guided through the seat-sided fitting parts. A form-fitted and force-fitted unit is arranged in the tube section, and works together with a complementary form-fitted and force-fitted unit at the seat-sided fitting parts.
