Silo for the storage of light hollow bodies with controllable discharge, comprising a large deposit (1) provided with a discharge opening (2) at a lower part thereof, said opening being superimposed over an outlet conveyor belt (3) and also having a dispenser device (5) with first plate (6) and a second plate (7)which are hinged respectively to opposite walls of said deposit (1) by means of an axis (6a, 7a), said walls being downwardly inclined with respect to their articulation (6a, 7a) and with opposite slopes; said plates (6, 7) can overlap each other at their distal areas of the articulation thereby closing the bottom of the deposit (1) and/or separating from each other to form said opening (2) of given amplitude; pushing means (8, 9) actuated continuously or in jerks are associated to the plates (6, 7); a flap (11) is hingedly mounted next to the free end of said first plate (6) and is associated to pushing means (12).
