UWB RECEIVER FOR PULSE SYNCHRONIZATION AND PULSE SYNCHRONIZATION METHOD ON THE UWB RECEIVER

PURPOSE: A UWB(Ultra Wide Band) receiver for pulse synchronization and a method for synchronizing a pulse are provided to reduce a synchronization time by processing a signal through a digital signal processing method after converting a synchronization signal to a frequency domain. CONSTITUTION: A UWB(Ultra Wide Band) receiver receives a synchronization signal comprised of a plurality of pulse rows and performs the synchronization. A frequency conversion unit(110) receives a synchronization signal with time sequence and converts each pulse of the synchronization signal to a frequency component with time sequence. A digital converter(120) converts the frequency component to a digital value and adds the weight component to the digital value. A synchronization time detector(130) extracts a peak value by inverse Fourier transforming the digital value with added weight component from the digital converter.
