PURPOSE: A control method is provided to descend or hold a power window according to the existence of a passenger in case of detection of over-current while automatically closing the power window. CONSTITUTION: An ordinary up and down switch is used as an automatic closing switch(100) of a power window for having two steps for up and down. A sensor(110) of a passenger is installed near the riding position of a passenger to generate and output the signal of the passenger. A driving motor(150) of the power window is driven to a right and a reverse directions by the driving signal of motor inputted from a motor controller(130) of the power window. And a detector(140) of over-current generates the detection signal of over-current due to the difference between a reference voltage and a voltage falling of both ends of a detection resistance of over-current for outputting the signal to the motor controller. Therefore, when a certain part of a passenger is caught in the window, the motor controller of the power window converts the state of the window closed to an opening state by signals inputted from the detector of over-current and the sensor of a passenger.
