PURPOSE: A dehydration apparatus of sludge is provided, which is characterized in that sludge is dehydrated by vacuum pressure instead of compressor, thus it can dispose a large amount of sludge in short time. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus is composed of dehydration tank(6) for inputting sludge through inflow waterway(2) and pumping out through drain waterway(4), filter(12) dividing dehydration tank into dehydration part(8) and draining storage part(10) in the tank, and vacuum pump(14) connected to storage part(10) of dehydration tank. While the air in storage part(10) is pumping out by vacuum pump(14), sludge is pressurized in the dehydration part(8). Then, moisture in sludge is collected and pumped through drain waterway. The apparatus has high dehydration efficiency and offers new sludge dehydration method.
