Method for determining print process parameters using cameras, illuminators and a test pattern

The method involves illuminating a test pattern by an illuminating module during movement of a print product (3). An image of the test pattern is recorded by a camera module. The test pattern is printed on the print product in the form of a set of individual sections (1A-1C), which are displaced transverse against each other and in movement direction of the print product. A sectional image is recorded from each individual section of the test pattern independent of the remaining sections by the illuminating module and the camera module. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for executing a method for determining a parameter of a printing process (2) a print product with a test pattern.
