AIMING DEVICE

The present invention pertains to the field of precise shooting and may be used for orienting geodesical and metrological equipment. The purpose of this invention is to increase the precision of the aiming device adjustment on a weapon and to introduce corrections when firing, to simplify the structure of the aiming device while reducing the size and weight characteristics thereof, and to establish desired functional relations between the angular offset of the sight portion and the weapon site for mounting a fixation mechanism that prevents any displacement of the control organs for the adjustment and the introduction of corrections. To this end, the weapon comprises a differential processor which is arranged between the sight portion of the aiming device and the fixation mechanism and which provides a mechanical connection between them. The processor consists of a mechanical calculator comprising one or more working organs which are mechanically, serially and rigidly brought into contact with each other, thus eliminating the six levels of freedom of mutual displacement. These organs consist of mechanical members capable of deformation and having a longitudinal section and/or cross-section profile which is determined from the desired adjustment and corrections, thus resolving the differential equation of the deformations in a selected group of points on the working organ. The processor may be a part of the aiming device structure or a part of its frame body.
