The present invention refers to a process for manufacturing a food product of the taco type which is ready to be heated in a microwave oven. The stages of said process are a) preparing the stuff, b)stiffing the taco, c) packaging the product, and e) heating the tacos in the microwave oven. Said manufacturing process provides a product with an ideal flavour and consistency so as to be consumed at any time and place.
