PURPOSE: A vehicle collision restoration type friction pad shock absorbing apparatus is provided to release the impact and to reduce the damage of a passenger by dispersing and converting the direction of force due to the repulsive power generated in a vehicle collision to both sides of a horizontal line and a vertical line. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle collision restoration type friction pad shock absorbing apparatus is composed of a friction pad ring(19) and a friction pad(20). The friction pad ring is installed on a guide rail(17) of one side of a railway wheel(16). A bolt hole(26) combined with a fixing bolt(25) is formed on the outer circumference of the friction pad ring. The friction pad is installed between the friction pad ring and the guide rail. The friction pad is fixed by the fixing bolt inserted into the bolt hole of the friction pad ring. The friction pad delays the collision time and controls the return of a unit link shock absorbing member.
