NETWORK RESTORATION METHOD AND APPARAUS USING LINK-BYPASS SCHEME

PURPOSE: A method and a device for restoring the network with a link bypass mode are provided to minimize data loss by continuously using two links through bypass even if failure occurs when a frame is transmitted. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of switchses(300a-300n,310a-310n) perform a normal operation or a backup switch function depending on a control signal when the normal operation is performed or failure occurs when the same frame is transmitted by using two links. A bypass transmission controller(220) transmits the frame through the backup switch set to the failed switch if the failure occurs in the link. The backup switch is selected by referring to a path table.
