PURPOSE: A direction indicator of an automobile having melody function is provided to increase comfort by generating various genres when a direction indicator is operated. CONSTITUTION: In a device, a direction indicator light(40) is turned on/off by a MICOM(10). A switch(20) for the lighting the direction indicator light is connected to MICOM. A melody switch generates a melody in operation of the direction indicator light. The melody unit(30) is connected to the MICOM, and the melody chip generates the melody in operation of the direction indicator light. A speaker(32) generates the melody by the melody chip to the outside.
