PURPOSE: An ultrasound system and a method thereof are provided to easily detect extravasation of a subject due to contrast agent injection by using an ultrasound image. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasound system(100) includes a control part(110), a transmitting/receiving part(120), an ultrasound diagnosing part(130), an output part(140), and a fixing part. The control part controls transmission/reception of an ultrasound signal before and after contrast agent injection. The transmitting/receiving part transmits an ultrasound signal before the contrast agent injection to a subject, receives the ultrasound signal reflected from the subject, and forms a first receiving signal. The transmitting/receiving part transmits an ultrasound signal after the contrast agent injection to the subject, receives the ultrasound signal reflected from the subject, and forms a second receiving signal. The ultrasound diagnosing part detects extravasation of the subject due to the contrast agent injection through an ultrasound image. The fixing part fixes the transmitting/receiving part to the subject.
