PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a remote control method thereof are provided to enable a user to visually recognize a control menu by displaying the control menu while controlling a terminal place in a remote place. CONSTITUTION: Remote control connection is requested to a terminal(S10). Control menu information allowing remote control operations among a plurality of control operations, which are performed by the terminal, is received when the connection with the terminal is kept(S11). A control menus related to the control menu information is displayed(S12). If the control menu is selected from the control menus, a control signal is transmitted to the terminal(S13). |
