<p>PURPOSE: A CIGS solar cell with high efficiency and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve photoelectric efficiency of a solar cell by controlling the diffusion quantity of sodium diffused in a soda-lime glass substrate by an interlayer. CONSTITUTION: An interlayer(20) is deposited on a soda-lime glass substrate(10). The interlayer is made of one of chrome, nickel, the alloy thereof to control the diffusion quantity of sodium from the soda-lime glass substrate. A molybdenum layer(30) is a bottom electrode layer deposited on the interlayer. A CIGS layer(40) is a p type sunlight absorbing layer deposited on the molybdenum layer. A CdS layer(50) that is an n type buffer layer is deposited on the CIGS layer. An ZnO layer(60) is deposited on the CdS layer. A transparent electrode layer(70) is deposited on the ZnO layer. The deposition thickness of the interlayer is 5 to 1000 angstrom.</p> |
