METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING DYNAMIC CALL GRAPH OF APPLICATIONS

PURPOSE: A method for generating a dynamic call graph of an application is provided to improve accuracy as reducing consumption of hardware resources of a system executing the application. CONSTITUTION: Information about a program code page approaching for each sampling time is collected(210). Parts of an executable code which was accessible for each sampling time are determined according to the collected information(220). A set of functions located in the parts of the determined executable code is determined(230). By using the set, all feasible dynamic call graphs are generated(240). An accurate dynamic call graph is generated by removing an inaccurate dynamic call graph from the generated dynamic call graphs(250). A dynamic call graph for the whole observation periods is generated by adding the accurate dynamic call graphs for each sampling time(260).
