PURPOSE: An auto-returning sliding door is provided to simplify the structure, to improve the appearance, and to facilitate the carrying and installation. CONSTITUTION: An auto-returning sliding door is composed of a concave portion(4), a case(10), a reel member(12), a braking wheel(16), and a wire(20). The concave portion is formed in the upper part of a door(2) to be opened upwardly. The case is housed in the concave portion. The eel member is axis-supported in the case to be rotatable. A coil spring(13) is installed in the reel member. A sawtooth portion(15) is formed in the outer circumference of the reel member. The braking wheel is axis-supported in one side of the reel member to be rotatable. A sawtooth portion(18) geared with the sawtooth portion of the reel member is formed in the circumference of the braking wheel. A braking mechanism(19) is formed I the braking wheel. One end of the wire is fixed to the reel member or the door so that the wire is wound on the reel member. The other end of the wire is fixed to a window frame. |
